The Midnight Library was the last book I finished reading in 2020, and as it's a book about reflection and wishes. It's about wanting something different from what you've got in life. It was the perfect book to help me reflect on a rather unique year.
Frank Sinatra sang about regrets, he had a few. The Midnight Library is where Nora faces a few of her own regrets. What happens when you actually live the life you thought you wanted?
I don't want to spoil anything, but I can promise you won't regret it.
Happy New Year's Eve everyone!
I read a lot and I hope to help authors with the craft of writing. I share good examples of difficult aspects of writing: point of view, narration, world building and more.
Occasionally I give editing tips and share insights from the world of publishing.
